Taking the time to apply a protective coating to your suede byJAMES sandals is

To keep your suede looking fresh, use a soft-bristle brush on it occasionally. Opt for a natural or silicone-bristled brush and avoid abrasive tools. Brush gently in the direction of the nap to maintain a smooth and uniform appearance.

If your shoes have been soaked in water, it's best to let them air dry naturally away from heat. After they have dried, you can raise the nap

To hydrate and strengthen leather, gently apply a thin layer of natural conditioner or oil, such as coconut oil, using a soft cloth. Rub it into the leather and remove any excess with a clean cloth. This process also provides protection against future contaminants. Initially, the leather may darken but will return to its original color once dry. Remember, leather conditioner is not suitable for metallic leather or suede.
